The Boland Guest List Thursday 26th November: Well we’ve had to cancel her interview scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, but, for sure it will go ahead on the Thursday show ....IT’S ANN NOLAND AT LAST!!!! You should all know this by now but here goes again: Ann Nolan who was scheduled for yesterday show but now the rescheduling sees her on the Wednesday guest list: the 1970's singing sensations the Nolan's have reformed, minus one sister , Anne. They are now on a very successful comeback tour and are set to launch an album, all without their sister Anne, So why has the eldest sister been left out? Perhaps it was because of her book where she revealed that she had been sexually molested by there father, or was it because of a fall out with youngest sisters Colleen husband? All will be revealed when Ann will give a no holds bared interview with Maurice. Next up are The Grime Twins yes folk Boland’s done he’s got The Grime Twins on his show…but wait a minuet its not THE Grime twins not exactly Jedward, they are Ollie and Niall Grimes and are the original Grimes Twins who run a pub in Dublin. like Jedward they like to dress up and also don’t have a note in their heads.

The next guest Nigel Smith has one of those extraordinary stories the Maurice likes to bring you: As a man in Belgium emerged from a 23 year coma this week, Nigel, a British writer, relives his own horrifying ordeal in his book ‘ I Think There’s Something Wrong With Me’ Nigel describes how when he was in a coma, he couldn’t move, couldn’t speak but could hear every world that the doctors were saying. A nightmare that will be retold on the Boland Show.

. The Boland Show guest list Wednesday 25th Nov: Well tie me kangaroo down sport Rolf Harris is on the Boland Show!!!! Rolf is an artist, musician, singer and TV presenter and one of Britain’s best-loved entertainers. It has been 40 years since Rolf Harris topped the Christmas charts and in a market dominated by young acts he has chosen an unlikely partner – Rick Parfitt of the legendary rock band Status Quo to help repeat the 1969 success of two little boys and According to a report in The Sunday Times, the single will be based on Harris' memories of eating a traditional hot turkey dinner in the scorching heat during his early years in Perth. In 2005 Harris was commissioned to paint a portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II for her 80th birthday, which was unveiled by Rolf Harris on 19 December 2005 at Buckingham Palace. Harris appeared with a wobble board in a Churchill Insurance advertisement in 2009, and hosted the satirical quiz show Have I Got News for You, aired on May 15, 2009.
Next is Ann Nolan who was scheduled for yesterday show but now the rescheduling sees her on the Wednesday guest list: the 1970’s singing sensations the Nolan’s have reformed - minus one sister , Anne. they are now on a very successful comeback tour and are set to launch an album , all without their sister Anne, So why has the eldest sister been left out? Perhaps it was because of her book where she revealed that she had been sexually molested by there father, or was it because of a fall out with youngest sisters Colleen husband? All will be revealed when Ann will give a no holds bared interview with Maurice.
The next interview is possibly more suited to The Gilmore Show: As climate change scientists are accused of fiddling their figures, Boland guest Christopher Booker, the author of a new book ‘ The Real Global Warming Disaster’ says the world is not getting hotter and we’re about to spend billions on a problem that doesn’t exist. Christopher Booker, Sunday Telegraph columnist and Bete Noir of climate campaigners, has here produced the definitive climate sceptics' manual. That's to say, he has rounded up just about every criticism ever made of the majority scientific view that global warming, most probably caused by human activity, is under way, and presented them unchallenged. If you share his convictions, you'll love it, and will dismiss the rest of this review as part of the cover-up. Right up Boland’s street me thinks????
And finally: Norwegian Bjorn Heidenstrom is cycling from Oslo to South Africa to collect signed football jerseys from all teams in all genres. all the shirts shall be sewn together to form the world’s largest signed football shirt which will be used as a flag during the world cup in 2010 in support of young refugees. Boland on Wednesday at 10am

The Boland Guest list for Tuesday 23rd Nov: There was great excitement in the record industry when the 1970’s singing sensations, the Nolan’s had reformed - But they had left out one sister, Ann.. Why did this happen? Was it because she had written a very controversial book telling for the first time that she, as a member of the whiter than white Irish girl group the Nolan Sisters, had in fact been sexually abused by there father? Or perhaps it was because she had a fall out with Coleen Nolan’s husband? In a very frank interview on the Boland Show she will tell her side of the story.
When Maurice first read this story he was so moved by it that he insisted that Mariatu Kamara come onto his show so she could tell her story herself; As a child in a small rural village in Sierra Leone, Mariatu lived peacefully surrounded by family and friends. rumours of rebel attacks were no more than a distant worry, but when 12 year old Mariatu set out for a neighbouring village, she never arrived. Heavily armed rebel soldiers, many no older than children, attacked and tortured her. During this brutal act of senseless violence they cut off both her hands and in her book ‘’ Bit of The Mango’ Mariatu tells the story of her miraculous survival.
The dark stories continue when we follow this story: A man who strangled his wife in his sleep as he dreamed he was tackling an intruder walked free from court yesterday. In a highly unusual case, prosecutors had already agreed that although he killed his wife, they would not seek a guilty verdict because he was not in control of his actions. Neil Stanley is chairman of the British sleep society and discusses this particular disorder. Time we lighten up at this point; Eamon Nancarrow grew up in Holywood, County Down, with a passion for rock and roll. He dreamt of striding across the world’s stages, singing his heart out and lapping up all the trimmings that success would deliver. Somehow Eamon didn’t make it but he had a ball trying and has brought it all to life in his hilarious memoirs ‘ Holywood star: The Life and Times of a Rock and Roll Misadventurer
