For those of you remember Steven O’Riordan’s harrowing story of abuse by Irish Catholic priests on the Boland show a few weeks ago, you will remember he reported that the largest ever hearing will take place in Ireland re the children that were under the care of Nuns and Priests in institutions. The hearing will make judgment on the following points: Sexual abuse. The mistreatment of the individuals. The Slave labour carried out. The insufficient care & attention provided by both Church and the State. The hearing started today and Steven, himself a survivor of sexual abuse by priests, will give an exclusive interview on the hearing. One of the biggest stories of the day was the unexpected freeing of mercenary Simon Mann, the Old Etonian, who was pardoned earlier this week after being jailed over a bungled coup in Equatorial Guinea. Mann was freed by President Teodoro Obiang Nguema after serving 15 months of his 34-year sentence. Mark Thatcher who was implicated in the coup and subsequently and arrested but still will have many questions to answer when Mann has settled home, released a statement from his luxury mansion near Marbella, saying: 'I am delighted that Simon will be reunited with his family at last.' , Adam Roberts, author of ‘The Wonga Coup’ will be discussing the failed coup and Mark Thatcher’s role etc… Finally Anjam Chowdery founder of Islam4uk, who wants to see UK adopting Sharia Law, Nelson to be toppled off the column and replaced by the Muslim clock and 10 Downing Street turned the UK’s Islamic head quarters, will be explaining to Boland why his planned march last Saturday was such a failure.
