Nigel, a very successful music producer’s wife sally died from breast cancer 5 years ago. Whilst nursing her he used to sing to her Cat Stevens Father and Son accompanied by his very talented son Nigel. They have now both recorded a brilliant version of this classic and are dedicating all the money raised to the Caron Keating trust. Caron who also died of breast cancer is Gloria Hunnifords daughter. Chris Risbey fancied buying a quant little country hotel just beyond Rhonda, only one draw back of the 100,000 needed he only had 20,000 pounds so he came up with a ingenious solution he simply ask 89 of his friends to donate one thousand pounds each and instead of him paying back this money he gave each a credited at the hotel for the amount they invested. Eric Morecambe him of the Eric and Erne fame, was, possible one of UK’s most loved comics, his death in 1984 left a void in the world of British comedy that was never filled. His son Gary Morecambe has written a book ‘You’ll Never Miss Me When I’m Gone’ covers his father’s life and distinguished career.
