The Tuesday morning’s Boland Guest list. First up is one of Scotland’s most successful exports. Barbara Dixon. She has sold more records than any other Scottish female artists, singer, songwriter and of course actress. She has been entertaining audiences for over 40 years and we look forward to her unique style on the Boland Show. Next up is Nigel Mason. His name might not immediately mean allot to you but we are sure after his appearance on the Boland Show it will. Nigel, a very successful music producer’s wife sally died from breast cancer 5 years ago. Whilst nursing her he used to sing to her Cat Stevens Father and Son accompanied by his very talented son Nigel. They have now both recorded a brilliant version of this classic and are dedicating all the money raised to the Caron Keating trust. Caron who also died of breast cancer is Gloria Hunnifords daughter. Our own Jeremy Hitchen’s has been playing Father and Son on his breakfast show. Chris Risbey fancied buying a quant little country hotel just beyond Rhonda, only one draw back of the 100,000 needed he only had 20,000 pounds so he came up with a ingenious solution he simply ask 89 of his friends to donate one thousand pounds each and instead of him paying back this money he gave each a credited at the hotel for the amount they invested. Genius or What? The guest list has not yet been completed as one other guest is to be confirmed. Boland on Tuesday at 10am
