Eric Morecambe him of the Eric and Erne fame, was, possible one of UK’s most loved comics, his death in 1984 left a void in the world of British comedy that was never filled. His son Gary Morecambe has written a book ‘You’ll Never Miss Me When I’m Gone’ covers his father’s life and distinguished career. To mark the 25th anniversary of his death Gary will be a guest on the Boland Show. How would you like to marry a Bedouin tribesman? Well, that’s exactly what the next guest did not only did she marry one but spent the first seven years of her marriage living in a 2,000 year old cave. No hot and cold running water here, she had to cart water around on the back of a donkey!!!! Mary Coughlan rose to international fame in the late 80’s with her album ‘Tired and Emotional’ ( bit like myself!!) but behind the pretty facade was a women battling with addictions. She will talk about the traumatic events in her childhood that led to a life of rebellion, running away and reliance on drugs and alcohol.
