Today Saturday 17th October we witnessed one of the largest public funerals Ireland has seen for many years. It was of the Boyzone member Stephen Gately who sadly died in Mallorca early last week. Stephens trusted friend and lawyer Gerald Kean is scheduled to speak to Boland exclusively on the Monday mornings Boland show. He will relate his many memories of Stephen not only as a client but as a friend. Gerald Kean has been the family spokesman through this tragic time giving out statements to the press and advising them on everything from the return of Stephens body to the funeral.
