The Boland Guest list for Wednesday: Top of the list is Lord Norman Tebbit. On Monday, 25 years after they were almost killed by the Brighton bomb, Lord Tebbit and his wife Margaret made an emotional return to the site of the blast. They unveiled a plaque in honour of those killed and injured in the IRA atrocity. Sheryl Gascoigne is up next. ‘Stronger’ is the memoir of her life with football superstar Paul Gascoigne, and what a life it was; it had it’s ups and downs, brutality, infidelity and addiction, it’s all there and more. Phyllida Law is the mother of actress Emma Thompson, she is a well known actress who has appeared in numerous plays, television series and films. She has a fascinating story to tell. Finally, Captain Doug Beattie joins the guest list. His first tour of Afghanistan won him the military cross. But, it was his second tour of the war torn country that filled him with horror, witnessing the grisly world of child suicide bombers, troops who hung out body parts to ward off attacks and Afghan soldiers so reluctant to fight he had to drag them into battle. Boland on Wednesday at 10 listen live on http://www.talkradioeurope.com/
